I have another mailable patriotic card for you today.
This is a simple dimensional layout. Creating layers with "pop dots" or foam tape will go through the mail very well, as long as you don't go over 2 layers of those dimensional adhesives. The post office will charge you extra if it gets too thick. And all those lovely rhinestones and pearls, and especially ribbon bows, don't go thru their machines very well, even with an extra cardstock layer over the front of the card. You will pay package rates to mail most of those cards.
Now, for this card I used my 2 cup measuring cup to create the curve on the tan and blue star paper, then again on the white paper, and layered them together. The stripe and the stars with the white layer between them was then layered on a white panel. That was attached to the card front with dimensionals, as was the diecut circle. The stars are on the same level as the greeting.
Supplies:
White and Navy Cardstock
Designer papers by Authentique: Anchored collection (stripes) and Accomplished collection (stars)
Dies by Sweet n Sassy Stamps (stars) and Spellbinders (circle)
Greeting by SU!
