Happy Valentine's Day

Hi There! This is Kim sharing with you a fun Valentine card. I love pairing kraft and red together for this Valentine's Day card. I did some embossing and stitching on the heart. The flowers are then added on top of the twine. This makes for a fun and quick card.

Special Place In My Heart

Hello friends, this is coming a day late- sorry hubby and I spent the hole day traveling yesterday from SC to AZ- very long day.  Today I have a sweet Valentine's day card for you.  I am using the cupid die (half of it) from QuicKutz, the oval dies are from My Favorite Things as is the flourish die- paper is from Authentique and the hearts are just a small punch.

Happily Ever After

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - thank you Terri for having me.  Today I have a very special card using both a Julie Nutting Prima Doll and the Jeremiah guy stamp from C Thru The Woods.  I had the idea in my head for a cute couple sitting at a soda fountain sharing one drink with two straws.  This is what I came up with.

I used a file from the Silhouette online store to cut out the awning and shop front, then used a wood-grain washi tape to finish it off.  Here is a look at the inside.

I used 'Love Letters' paper and stickers from Bo Bunny for the background and sentiment.  The root beer float is also a file from the silhouette store cut using my Cameo.

I used a piece of acetate to make the widow, and cut the word 'Cafe' from some frosted vinyl.

I love how this card turned out, and whilst I made it with Valentines in mind, this would also make a great engagement or anniversary card.

Mixed Media Love

It's Ceal here to share another Valentines card with you. Today's card is a mixed media card. I started with a cream cardstock cut to an A2 sized base and the image panel slightly smaller. I stamped my heart image from Hero Arts randomly to create my background. Next I took a Tim Holtz Stencil and some embossing paste that I colored with a distress re inker, and spread it over the hearts I wanted to pop from the stencil.  I added a thin piece of May Arts ribbon and placed the die cut "love" by Lawn Fawn on top to finish my card.

Hi There! This is Kim here to share with you this CAS card uses simple dies and embossing to create an elegant and quick card.  First off I used Ectasy Crafts framed embossing folder then I used Impression Obsessions dies to cut out the heart and sentiment. I love the red glitter paper that's used for the dies. It adds a beautiful shimmer to the card. Last are some little red sequins to embellish the embossed areas.

A Valentine Wish

Sorry this is coming to you a day late, it has just been a crazy time at my house and I totally forgot to do my post.  Sweet little valentine for you today using a Penny Black sentiment, a My Favorite Things flourish die and paper from Authentique.  Hope all is well with everyone..  Is it SPRING yet?

2 Quick and Easy Valentines Day Cards

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - thanks Terri for having me.  Today I have 2 very quick and easy Valentines Day cards for you, both of these I found on Pinterest.  The first one is a really cute idea, especially if you have a large quantity to make.

Such a quick and easy card, all you need are some 'googley' eyes, a heart and some rub-on or sticky letters.

My second card is a little more elegant, and could be used as an anniversary or wedding card.

I used a fine Sharpie marker to draw the lines, some die cut hearts and a little bling.

The sticker sentiment is from Bo Bunny 'Love Letters' sticker sheet.

King Of My Heart

It's Ceal here to share another Valentines card with you. This one was simple and easy to make and I didn't even use a stamp (which is very unusual for me).

To make my card I started with some cream cardstock for my base A2 sized and my main panel in cream as well.  I used two different Impression Obsession Dies and the image is Authentique design paper. Easy peasy card you can make for Valentines and Terri has all the supplies to make it.

Hi There! This is Kim here to share a fun Valentiine's Day card. Nothing says Valentine like Cupid's arrow. This is another quick and easy card to make.I start off by embossing the white cardstock with tiny little hearts. I then die cut Cupid and the frame. Cupid is adhered to the frame using 3-D tape. The ribbon adds a nice shimmery touch and accented with a heart brad. To finish it off I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and rounded the corners with a corner rounder.

Sweet Valentine Wishes

Morning friends, long time no see.  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas season and praying that your New Year has started off well.  I have a sweet little Valentine for you today, this is one of my favorite holiday's to create cards for.  I used this sweet little bear from Penny Black Stamps, I colored with copic markers the paper is from Authentique and the little die cuts are called Love Buds from Penny Black.   All the supplies are available at A Scrap-N-Place.

I Love Every Inch of You Tag

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - as always thank you Terri for having me.  I have a tag today that I made using one of the Julie Nutting Prima Dolls - you know how I love playing with these dolls.

This tag could be used for Valentines Day, or any other day you want to let someone know how special they are.  Do you recognize this doll?  I really did play around with her, even giving her a new hairstyle.

The background paper is 'Love Letters' by Bo Bunny - I really loved this unusual colour combo.  I used some 'tape' ribbon for the side and rub-on letters for the sentiment.  The hearts I cut using a very old sizzix die.

It's Ceal here to share my first card of the new year with you. We are gearing up for Valentines at A Scrap N Place and have lots of new dies, stamps and papers for your Valentine card making. A Little Valentines Inspiration

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink.  I have a couple of very simple Valentines Day cards for you using an Impression Obsession die and Bo Bunny paper 'Love Letters'.

My first card I just used a black cardstock for the background and stamped it with an 'xo' stamp using versamark ink.

I love how versatile this die is and that you can use both the positive and negative parts that you cut out out for all different variations and colour combinations.  Here I used the Bo Bunny 'Love Letters' paper as the background.

I hope I have given you a little early inspiration for Valentines Day.  As always Terri thank you for having me to play over in your space. See you next time.
