Hi Everyone
Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink. Today is my last post of the year for A Scrap N Place - thank you Terri, this past year has been a blast. Today's tag is also my post for C Thru The Woods. My inspiration for this tag came from Pinterest.
How cute do this couple look, celebrating the new year in the city?
The city skyline, clock, fireworks and 2015 are cut using files from my Silhouette Cameo.
See you all next year.

A Project That Will Make You 'Crackers'!
Hi Everyone
Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - as always thank you Terri I am so happy to be here. This is a quick project today that you can make using a few scraps of paper, after all with 'the big day' only 48 hours away who has time for elaborate projects?
These little crackers would look so pretty on the Christmas table, one for each guest maybe? They are made using a few scraps, a liitle bling, some ribbon and the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board.
They really are simple, just follow the video tutorial here.
Wishing You All The Very Merriest Christmas.

'Credit Cards Have A Limit?' Card
Hi Everyone
Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - thanks Terri for having me. No month as guest designer for Terri would be complete if I didn't make at least one project using a Prima Doll stamp (you know how I love them!)
Don't you just love the colours on these Bo -Bunny papers? I couldn't resist giving her a cheeky face using some Peachy Keen stamps and a sentiment that I created using my Silhouette Cameo.
I actually made this into an easel card, so that it could stand up and you could see the sentiment inside.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you next time.

Tim Holtz Christmas
Happy Sunday!
It's Ceal here to share with you a card using a Tim Holtz die that I totally dismantled to fit my base. I am a A2 size girl and the die that I used makes a 4x6 front, so I just cut it apart after I ran it through my bigshot, to create my unique card. I also used Lawn Fawn stitched hillsides and the greeting is also a die cut from Pink Paisley.
Wow can you believe it's only 10 days away from Christmas? better get those cards sent out

Tree Tags
Hi Everyone
Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - thank you Terri for having me. Following on from my card last week made using the Sparkling Tree Tile die from Memory Box, I wanted to share the two tree tags I made.
These are so simple, and can be made with a few scraps that you can co-ordinate with any colour of gift wrap.
You could even turn these into ornaments for the tree. Terri has a great selection of glittery papers, vellums and a variety of 'bling' that would be perfect for these.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you next time.

Deck the Halls
Hello Ladies,
I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday, it was wonderful to spend time with my husband and son. My husband and I celebrated our Wedding Anniversary as well. I even got in some shopping this past weekend, which is no surprise to some of you. This weeks card was inspired on one of those weekend nights when I couldn't fall asleep, so I got up and went to work. The background is a red glimmer paper, with a plain white card stock on top of that. The ornaments are dies from Memory Box the small one is the Lydia Ornament, background is the Traditional Ornament, the large ornament is the Elliana Ornament background is the Drop Ornament. The background on both ornaments is done in the Sunlight Speckle Cosmic Shimmer Gliding Flakes or Gold and Silver, which is much easier to remember. The overlays are the Lydia and Elliana which is done with Elizabeth Red Glitter. The flocked pine boughs or branches are Memory Boxes Lightbulb Branch, for the flocking I used the Embossing Tinsel Snowflake. The stamp is done in Wow's Red Embossing Glitter and last but not least the ribbon is a sheer red.
Since it is that time of the year and as we make out our Christmas lists remember Scrap N Place has gift certificates! This is a great idea for the husbands who usually don't know what to get us. I hope everyone has a good week and I look forward to seeing you in the store.

Simple Blue and White Card
Hi Everyone
Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink, as always thank you Terri for having me. Today I have a simple blue and white card made using the 'Sparkling Tree Tile' die from Memory Box. I wasn't quite sure about using this die initially, but then an idea struck me and I just had to go with it.
Just simply by adding some glitter cardstock and pearls to the blue and white colour scheme really made this card 'pop'. Here is a closer look.
The sentiment is embossed in fine detail silver embossing powder.
I also wanted to give another little plug for a fun competition Terri is currently holding in the store with these cute little snowmen tree ornaments.
If you buy one of these kits ($3.99) - bling it up make it your own and take it back into the store to enter the contest. There is a $25.00 gift certificate up for grabs and a chance to win this cute layout.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my project. See you soon.

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
It's Ceal here, hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend and ate plenty of turkey, Today I am sharing some Lawn Fawn goodies with you. Love this little owl and there is a coordinating die to go along with it. I used some Lawn Fawn paper cut with the Die-namics Blueprint 15 and twine. I added a little Canvas Corp clothes pin to finish it off.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Here is another Christmas Cardinal card. For this card I used a large wood grain background stamp. I sponged for the ink around the cardinal to make it more rustic looking. My favorite part was using the blendabilities markers - just love working with them. I added a little glitter to make it look like snow. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

O' Christmas Tree
Hello Ladies and a Happy Thansgiving to you and your families,
Here is another idea and a very easy one for those of you that haven't started your Christmas cards. The card is an A2 the background is a red pearlized paper and the embossing folder is Couture Creations Fancy Christmas Tree with a white gossamer ribbon tied around the base.
As I promised last week, below is my recipe for a great Turkey Pot Pie.
Crust:
1 Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Sheet
Filling:
1/3 c butter or margarine
1/3 c chopped onion
1/3 c all-purpose flour
1/2 t salt
1/3 t Herbes de Provence
1/4 t pepper
1 c of chicken broth
1/2 c white wine
2/3 c milk
2 1/2 to 3 c shredded turkey or chicken
2 c of frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 egg & 1 t of water
Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Thaw puff pastry out as directed on package.
Melt the butter in medium sauce pan over medium heat. Add onion; cook 2 minutes or until tender. Add the flour, salt, herbs de provence, pepper; stir until well blended about 2 minutes. Gradually store in the wine, broth and milk, cooking and stirring until bubbly and thickened.
Add turkey and mixed vegetables; mix well. Remove from heat. Spoon turkey mixture into an oven safe dish, cover with the puff pastry. Beat egg with teaspoon of water and brush over the puff pastry, this will give it a nice golden brown top to the puff pastry.
Bake at 425 F for 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
6 Servings
This recipe is adapted from The Pillsbury Company.

Happy Holidays from a 'Tartan Miss'
Hi Everyone
Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - thank you Terri for having me. My card today is probably one of my very favorite, probably because it uses one of the new Prima dolls, but also because I love this Authentique 'Believe' paper.
How cute is she dressed in her tartan outfit? The hat is actually part of the set included with the Prima 'Dog Treats' stamp set, and the bag is from the Prima 'Boutique Set'. What do you think of her 'fur' trimmed boots?
Thanks for stopping by today.
