Coolest Christmas

Hi There! Kim here with this cool Christmas card. I did a negative die cut by running the snowflake die through the white glitter cardstock and only using the open cut out part. I then layered some more snowflakes onto the center of the negative cutout. The banner is done freehand and placed on top of the snowman paper using 3-D foam tape. I also added some silver dot sparklers from Stampendous.

All supplies can be purchased as A Scrap 'N Place.

Papers: Basic Grey (Figgy Pudding), Bazzill (red & green cardstock), White Glitter Paper, White Cardstock
Accessories: Stampendous (dot sparkler silver)
Tools: Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps (snowflake die set)

Holiday Blessings

Morning friends, so excited to be sharing a card for Christmas in June!  This card was pretty easy to make, all the paper is from Authentique and the ornament die is from Impression Obsession.  I added ribbon, large brad and 3 small brads and I hung the ornament from twine all of which can be found at A Scrap-N-Place.

Watercolor Takes Over the Poppies!

I have to apologize for not posting my usual Wednesday post last week.  My mom was put in hospice week before last and she died on Monday (Memorial Day).  I've been out of town a lot and distracted when I wasn't.  Top that off with a car breakdown on my way to Denver last week...a permanent breakdown...and you'll get a picture of the last couple of weeks for me.

Enough of that...here's a new card for you.

This was definitely a delight to make!  I've taken the Watercolor for Cardmakers class at Online Card Classes recently and watercolor was definitely on my mind for this one.  And I used the same Penny Black stencil and stamp that I've been using this month.

For this I inked the stencil with Distress Inks...Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, and Picked Raspberries.  I just kinda smeared the colors on the pads all over.   Then I spritzed it really good and put my paper down on it and allowed it to take up the color.  A couple of seconds is all you need.  Then I blew it dry with my heat gun.

I used the stamp positioner to position the stamp over the flowers, stamped in versamark, and embossed in bright gold embossing powder.  A pale pink card made the most impact for the background so that's what it got!

The greeting is stamped in Picked Raspberries and layered on gold glitter paper.

Supplies:
Pink and white cardstock
Penny Black stamp and stencil
Versamark ink and bright gold embossing powder
Distress inks

Father's Day Card (and more!)

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink, as always Terri thank you for having me.  This is such a quick and simple Father's Day card using the small 'Andrew' Stamp from C Thru The Woods.

I used a dark grey cardstock to stamp the image several times on the background, and then fussy cut and paper pieced one image and popped him up on dimensionals.  The sentiment is computer generated.  Here is a second card, using some different scraps.

Then of course you can always change the sentiment to suit the occassion.

All supplies used are available at A Scrap N Place.

See you next time.

Merry

Hi there it's Ceal here back to share with you.
Today starts Christmas in June at A Scrap N Place and Terri has lots of fun planned this month, there are lots of classes too so make sure you check the calendar. The card I am sharing uses a Impression Obsession tree die along with the Merry die from Memory Box.  They go together nicely and make a quick and easy clean and simple card. The embossing folder I used is from Sizzix. You can find all these supplies and more at A Scrap N Place
