Summertime Fun

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - as always thank you Terri for having me.

For my final card  this month I am using a Prima doll and more Authentique papers. I don't usually go for this kind of colour scheme - but they are so bright and cheerful.

I paper pieced this girl and added a handbag (from the boutique stamp set by Prima) and a pair of sunglasses (another brad from my stash,)

I've also given this girl some facial features using a stamp set from Peachy Keen - love how cute this makes her look.

Thanks for stopping by today.  See you next time.

Cute Cowboy Couple

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink- as always thank you Terri for having me. So I am back playing with the Prima dolls and guy stamps from C Thru The Woods.  I have used 'Becky' the cowgirl and Michael, don't they make a cute couple?

Of course I had to use that bucket die and the barbed wire fence die (both from Memory Box.)

The background paper for this card is from Authentique, and I used papers from my stash to paper piece the clothes and ProMarkers to colour the skin.

Thanks for stopping by today,  See you next time.

City Boy

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
It's Ceal here to share a card with you today. Say hello to Aidan, the newest Prima doll and a boy!  Instead of making a tag like most normally do with the Prima dolls because of their size I made a birthday card, just stamped him lower on my card front.  I colored him with my Copic markers.  To get my background I used some watercolor paints and then added some city stenciling and some stars.

Bucket loads of Love

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - as always thank you Terri for having me.  I have a pretty simple card today using a bucket die from Memory Box.  If I am honest I really got the die because I thought that it would be cute to go with the Prima dolls, and then the idea for this cute little card came into my head.

The paper for this is from Authentique, the dies for the bucket and the heart are both from Memory Box, and the sentiment is computer generated,

Hope you like today's card.  See you next time.

Sassy

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!

It's Ceal here to share a CAS card made with Natalie one of the many Prima Paper Doll stamps you can find at A Scrap N Place.
I used some Mme paper for her dress and jacket and then colored her skirt with my Copic markers and added some stickler for Bling, because a sassy girl has to have bling right?
To add a little more sparkle I used some clear sequins. Sequins are a fun way to add sparkle and still be a mailable card, terri has lots of sequins to choose from

Have a 'Spec'tacular Birthday

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - as always thank you Terri for having me. Today I have a card featuring one of the Prima Dolls (you know how much I love them!)

This particular doll is one of the stamp and die sets, so I didn't actually fussy cut anything - you have to love it when a card comes together so quickly.

The paper is from Authentique, the sentiment is computer generated, the lace is coloured with a ProMarker to match her outfit, then I added some flowers (Marvy punch) and some pearls.  Don't you just love those glasses?  They are brads that I have in my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today - see you next time.

Birds of a Feather

Happy Sunday!

It's Ceal to share one more card made with this Cheery Lynn Primitive Birdhouse die.
I used some of the Harmony collection papers from Authentique. I love this line because it has large print on one side and the smaller print for card making on the other.
This time I gave some texture to my birdhouse by running it through a faux wood embossing folder.  I also added the birds on a line die from Penny Black. I felt it needed something in he right corner so I added a sentiment on vellum and then stitched it to my card
